My Pigtails arrived. Hopefully, this weekend, I’ll get myself connected to the Waterford Wireless Network. Seeing as there has been a node accessible from Tramore since July, its about time I got myself connected.

TARG AGM
I was in Clonmel last night as Tipperary Amateur Radio Group had their AGM. Being a founding member, it would have been bad form not to turn up. For my troubles, I was voted onto the committee as the secretary. Its great to see such an interest in the hobby in such a large county.
Science Week
I attended two talks on Saturday morning in W.I.T. presented by CALMAST. The first one by Leo Enright was entitled “How the distance between science & society threatens Irelands future”.
