Unfortunately we are back from holidays. We spent a few days in Barcelona (a beautiful city, we will definitely be back). We then got the train down to Valencia, stayed there two nights, and then spent a week in Torrevieja. A most enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
Now that we have returned to reality we have a few days before returning to work. A prospect I am definately not looking forward to.
All the class managed to get through the course succesfully, the certification exam will have to wait however until after I come back from holidays (Barcelona here we come).
Caroline, thanks for the emails, your only making all of us jealous.
Ok, I’m weak. Mark bought a Garmin GPS V a few months back, so earlier on (while herself was watching corrie), I went and ordered myself a brand new fudgie. Between that and the Wellbrook Loop antenna should keep me out of the pub for a bit over Christmas. Hopefully I’ll get the outside of the house sorted over the holidays as well. I still haven’t drilled holes for the overflow pipes, next weekend……

Concorde G-BOAF will depart London Heathrow at approximately 11:10am before heading out over the usual supersonic acceleration point. It will then go supersonic for the last time over the Bay of Biscay before returning to Bristol where weather permitting it may fly a low pass before landing at Filton at approximately 12:42.
My better half and I went to see the new Matrix Film last night, Rob was right, “It went up its own arse”, is what I think he said to me in the pub last week. And I agree with him, a very weak ending. I guess I’ll just have to look forward to LOTR now. All in all it was very dissapointing.
I attended two talks on Saturday morning in W.I.T. presented by CALMAST. The first one by Leo Enright was entitled “How the distance between science & society threatens Irelands future”. Continue reading Science Week→
